"The Thoughtful Gift"

For special occasions (and sometimes just because)
I like to give the children a "thoughtful gift".
It always consists of a special note along with a small gift.

Last week...
the night before his birthday, the prince said...
"I wonder what my 'thoughtful gift' is this year?"

I couldn't believe it!!!
just goes to show you-
it really is the little things that are the BIG things!

Have a happy day!
Many Blessings!

  1. With such a creative mother as you are, I am sure your family will have some of the best and most meaningful memories of their growing up years! Kids love surprises, and these are kind they love the most. I love that idea and might have to borrow it for our family.

  9. What a great idea... I love the "just because" nature of it. We always like to be reminded out of nowhere that we are special and loved. Thanks for reminding me to TAKE THE TIME to STOP and remind my family in cute/unique ways. Wonderful...

  11. That is the sweetest idea ever!! My mom used to keep a rainy day gift assortment. When it was nasty weather outside she would pull out a bag that had all kinds of sweet little nothings in it. Moms are just the best. You my dear, sound the cream of the crop.

BTW I'm finally posting about you tomorrow. So make sure to take a peek:)
