These are a few of my favorite things....

C O L O R !

my top three favorites: pink, turquoise, lime green

for my car: black (unless it's a vintage convertible-then most definately it should be pink or turquoise!)

for my dream home: white with black shutters, rasberry red front door, perwinkle blue ceilings

for my clothes: ALL colors!

for my shoes: ALL colors- but I am quite partial to red, green, and all animal prints

for my paintings: you'll see a little of everything, but with lot's of my top three colors!

What are your favorite colors?

My plans were to show you some fun & colorful photos of my home and studio- but, I am still having trouble with my pictures- I hope to get all the "kinks" worked out this weekend! SO, for some great inspiration in the color department, please visit the artist Sara Mincy's blog!

You will LOVE her, her artwork and her colorful home- be sure and look on the sidebar for darling photos !

A New Favorite!

Did ya'll hear? TWO of my favorite magazines and sources of great inspiration are gone! Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion ( my absolute favorite- I have EVERY issue!) & Country Home. What's a girl to do??......Well, this girl searched and found a new absolute favorite.....

are you ready....

go visit their website look around, you'll love it!

The quality of pictures, inspiration, articles and ideas are just the best!- even better, it's a Christian magazine, so well done, after all -isn't God the ultimate author of beauty?

I hope you enjoy this little treat as much as I do! (and I think you will!) Oh, and for those of you wondering - No, I don't work for the magazine, nor am I getting something for advertising it, I am simply spreading a little joy!

Have a lovely day & many blessings!

p.s. if you are related to me, don't subscribe to this magazine just yet- you never know what "gift" may show up in the mail. :)

pat into a greased 9 x 13
Bake at 350 for about 18 minutes

mix and pour over hot crust
4 slightly beaten eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup lemon juice
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes
when done sprinkle with powdered sugar

special note: when I take these as a gift or part of a meal to a friend I like to top them with Pansies from my garden- washed of course!- (did you know Pansies are edible?)
