Gone to the dogs...

while working on this collage/painting recently...
I began to fall in love with the idea of a "little" dog...

I thought it might be fun for Odie to have a little friend ...
I decided to present my idea to him...

"you want me to consider the idea of a 'little' dog?"
"as a "little" friend?"
"you want me to 'just take a look'?"

"where do you get these ideas?"

"I mean aren't I just the BEST dog ever- do you REALLY need
another 'little' dog?"
"I don't need a 'little' friend."
"I just love ya'll!"

"you want me to just take another look?"
"keep an open-mind?"

"Nope! still think I like the idea of being the ONLY dog-
without a 'little' friend!"

"people!- they come-up with the craziest ideas!"

Happy Monday!
Many Blessings!

  1. I love these CRAZY ideas!

    Happy Monday back at you!

  2. Who can blame Odie, he would have to share his attention... oh my.. I know my dog would have a fit!:) She thinks she is queen of the house. I love your artwork. Very nice!

  3. I LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE Odie, Jill! He is the sweetest doggie ever!!!! I love your art work, too.:) Lori

  4. What a cute little piece! Love it!

  5. CUTE!! I love this post. My little dog probably wouldn't want to share her world with a big dog either. You are so creative:)

  6. That made me giggle.. I too have a rather "big" dog.. about 140lbs. and I sometimes want a little fuzzy fellow... Never thought about asking him... So funny..

  7. Odie is beautiful! And your little dog painting -- I thought it was a collage of scrap material? So very pretty and colorful! Brought a smile to my face. Have a great week. :) Tammy

  8. clever, clever girl. cute collage. funny story. smart dog.

  9. I LOVE the picture of him looking at the painting. Hilarious!

  10. Oh, indeed. I believe our dog feels much the same way (even with regard to the akita she has long lived with) still!

  11. LOL! Odie is too cute!

    {And the canvas is even cuter in person! We just love it, thank you!!}

  12. I don't know which I think is more adorable. Odie or that precious painting. I guess I love them both. Especially the one where he's looking at it! BTW, I LOVE my necklace...but I'm sure you already know that. I've received so many compliments and just love what it represents!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a little note! I truly treasure each one!
Lots of love and many Blessings!- Jill
