I am forever the sentimentalist!I just can't part with some of the things
that hold so many treasured memories...
some of the children's first shoes are one of those things!
They represent those very first steps in their new life...
even if they were still cradled in my arms...
they were still "stepping out"...
exploring their new world...
Oh, how I cherish those memories...and how much I love those little feet that filled these shoes...
with all my "heart and soul"!!!

Oh my goodness..Im so glad you kept them ALL, I have boys so I have to live vicarioulsy through Girl-moms who have these treasures!!
ReplyDeleteI just see dollar signs for those lellikelly shoes. They sell really well on eBay, even used ones. Of course, i'm not a mom, just a hopeless reseller of other people's gently used good stuff. lol
