a few weeks ago I "rescued" this lamp from...
Oh my! I loved the lamp, but the shade...
well, not so much!
and began tying on ribbons...
and tying...
and tying...
and now my "rescued" lamp is all happy and bright!...
sitting on my painting desk in the studio!!!
I think it would be fun to do a similar variation with fabric strips...
vintage lace...
even burlap strips mixed with maybe a vintage velvet flower...
Oh! so many ideas!!!
Off to rip-up all my old shades!

Wowsers!! LOVE the lampshade!! I am sooo gonna do this!! I got an awesome lamp from Goodwill, but the shade...well, lets just say it leaves something to be desired. Oh, now I know just what to do!!
