Art of the Cross...

been a little busy ...

working on part of the Spring 2010 collection...

beginning with my absolute favorite...
the cross...


such joy in creating...


and wearing a piece from the new collection...

Princess #2 has been very under-the-weather...

so by my side in the studio she has been...

(which I simply LOVE!)

she is enjoying her very own little treasure

created to celebrate the "art of the cross"!

Heartstrings...

HEARTSTRINGS:

deepest feelings or affections

created a few simple "heartstrings" to celebrate

upcoming Valentines Day...and my precious family- who ARE

my heartstrings...

cut multiple hearts from various felts (I LOVE Heather Bailey's felts)

I even added a little leopard material- just for fun!

and simply stitch them along with embroidery thread...

and then hang to enjoy...
and celebrate your "heartstrings"!

There were sweet clues all around...

someone has been using a little paint...

and why I do see a hand print in that glitter on a plate...

someone has been digging around for sure...

AHA! the final clue!

Princess #2!

but how delightful to see...

all that was created with glee!

I sure hope there will be some more "sneaking" soon,

for these are certain to be the most treasured surprises!

REALLY random...

Over the past few days, three Beautiful Bloggers-

Nancy, Heather and Amber

and got married December 31 that same year!...
I believe in love at first sight AND
that Friday the 13th is a VERY lucky day...


5. I said "I'd NEVER have a dog in my house!"
(we all know what happens when we say "never")
now I can't imagine life without Odie, our rescued Golden Retriever-
I just love that dog! and he IS in the house!


6. I speak with a THICK Southern drawl...
"white" is a four syllable word when I say it...

7. I am terrible at making choices...

which is why I could NEVER choose just seven bloggers

Baby it's cold outside...

celebrating winter!

(even though my heart really belongs to spring & summer)

beginning with a few winter goodies...

and after a generous dose of crafty magic...

90 % off ornaments got a little bow, a shabby posy,

and some sparkle too!

$1.00 spot gloves got happy with ruffle goodness

and a bit of bling!

plain wooden clothespins got dressed in a coat of glitter...

ready to hang the new winter goodies...

and now it's official...

we are CELEBRATING winter!
