an *UNexpected* break...

*quite literally!*
littlest Princess #2 was in a frightening accident with her horse a few weeks ago...

while she has been on-the-mend,
she has been working on her little Christmas gifts...

and in-between Doctor's appointments, basketball practices and games,
football workouts, a-million-and-one-home building decisions, birthday parties,
celebrating Thanksgiving, out-of-town company visiting, Christmas shopping,
cleaning up after septic tank back-ups in the house we are renting TWICE!,
desperately trying to catch-up and respond to all the *overwhelmingly* kind emails I have received-
so sorry if yours is one I have not yet reached! - I promise I'll be there soon!
AND replacing the dead battery in my car-( which died at football pick-up),

I have also been working on a few Christmas gifts!
(which I hope to share soon)
but mostly I have been counting my Blessings that with His mercy and grace
I am able to celebrate the wonder of this glorious season...
the birth of our Saviour!...
even with broken things and exhausting schedules!

Many Blessings!

  1. What a season you have had. That is the cutest dress/skirt on the injured one. I hope things settle down for you. I hate to say this but you will remember this oliday probably more than others because of all the things that have happened. I broke my leg two days before Christmas.
Not fun but I sure remember. Have a blessed holiday.

  2. My son broke his leg when he was 2! I know how challenging that can be - the day in the hospital was one of the hardest of my life, watching him be in so much awful pain! I'm glad you two are finding respite in crafting and gratitude for the season :) Two great remedies!

  3. Oh no, you sure have had your plate full. I will be praying for your daughter's quick healing!

  4. oh no! Sorry to hear this! Saying prayers that's she on the mend quickly and feeling better!
    Take care!

  5. Oh my what a whirlwind! I pray that the holiday season calms down a bit and that you and your family can sit back and relax!

  6. oh girl...what a whirl wind. hoping your daughter mends quickly.

  7. Oh Jill, I am so sorry to hear this... Happy Healing...

  8. Sorry to see this. Hope she heals well and quickly and what a great perspective you have through it all...

  9. My sure are busy! Sorry about little princess' leg...hope she's feeling better!

  10. Oh dear!! Sounds like you are making the best of it!! Hope she continues to heal and keep her spirits up being a little on the slower side during a busy time!! Enjoy the little things!! ;)

  11. oh no!! i'm so glad she is okay, minus the broken parts. it sounds like it was a scary accident.
i hope she heals quickly and in the meantime am glad that the two of you get to cuddle and craft together. take care!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a little note! I truly treasure each one!
Lots of love and many Blessings!- Jill
